The Space
Work ~ Relax ~ Play! Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape for two or a fun trip with friends or family, this little home in the woods is just the place.
Sitting on Birch Island in the middle of Deer Lake, this tiny house is a destination in itself. The bright blue waters surround the three-acre island, creating a peaceful, private retreat. Even though there’s an active lodge nearby, you won’t see any buildings from the front-facing views of the house, making it feel like your own little hideaway.
Inside, you’ll find a warm and inviting space with big windows, cozy furniture, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Sleeping Arrangements
The loft has one queen bed and two twin beds, which you can reach by a standard staircase. Since this is a tiny house, you won’t be able to stand up in the loft area, but that’s not really an issue since you’ll mostly be sitting or lying down there. If you have mobility concerns, just keep this in mind before booking.
Guest Access
You’ll have full access to the tiny house, a private beach, and plenty of free parking. Outside, you can kick back in the Adirondack chairs under string lights, gather around the wood fire pit, or fire up the propane grill. In the summer, you’ll also have access to your own private beach with two paddleboards and a two-person kayak.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Ever wondered what it’s like to stay in a tiny house? Now’s your chance! This home was custom-designed and built by Escape Traveler in Wisconsin, and it’s a great way to experience tiny living in a beautiful setting.
Cell service can be spotty here, but Wi-Fi works well for texting. Regular SMS messages and phone calls may come through, but it’s hit or miss.
Since this house is surrounded by nature, you’ll likely see some wildlife and bugs—maybe even an ant or two inside. Don’t worry, they won’t bother you!
Our insurance company requires a $300 security deposit and a signed release of liability agreement from all guests.
