Chocholowskie Domki is a cozy hideout consisting of four log cabins homely for a refreshing break in the beautiful town of Chocholow. These cottages, located just 2 km away from the village’s heart, offer a great view of the Tatra Mountains. Fully equipped, they are available for rent throughout the year.

Inside.

Every cabin has everything required for comfortable lodging. On the ground floor is a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, stovetop, electric kettle, pots, pans, and all necessary dishes. You also have here a room with a 40-inch LED TV, a fold-out sofa, and a bathroom completed with a shower. Upstairs are two bedrooms, both with a toilet. One of the bedrooms has two double beds and a single; the other one has two double beds. If you would like to enjoy extra relaxation, you can use the sauna at a small additional fee.

Outside.

Outside, a gazebo with a fireplace, playground for the kids, and a trampoline await. For those seeking a different adventure, quads can be rented to explore the area. The cottages can host about 2 to 8 guests.

Any more nearby? Famous Chocholowskie Thermal Baths are just 4 km away, plus the open-air Museum of Agriculture, skansen Chocholow. Grocery shop found 2 km away, bike routes 3 km away, restaurant 1 to 2 km away. The nearest ski lifts are around 7 km away, for those who like skiing.

Chocholow is indeed a very interesting village, a living museum, and even considered a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its fame comes from the wonderful wooden houses fully preserved; the local people wash them every year to keep them shiny. All of them come to see these fantastic, traditional log homes.

Chocholowski Baths – a bit more to discover, situated just 3.5 km away, with waters rich in minerals and glorious fun attractions for little ones and big kids. To call a few other sights nearby, one could mention the Museum of Peatlands, the Chocholowski Revolt Museum, and the picturesque Church of St. Jacek. An attractive bike path, that around the Tatra Mountains, leads up into Slovakia, and the cottages are part of the Friendly Places along this stretch.

What to do.

For the adrenaline junkie out there, obviously, 20km away is Zakopane—the winter capital of the Tatra Mountains. The city is full of activities; ski resorts, an aquapark, museums, cinemas, theaters, and events like the International Festival of Mountain Folklore and the Ski Jumping World Cup.

Breakfast will be arranged through a local company, the distance to the nearest restaurant is 700 meters away, and there’s also a second restaurant about 2 kilometers further down the road. A shop is just 2 km away, and within the cabins are brochures for restaurants offering take-away services.

Chocholowska Valley enjoys a distance of approximately 10 km, gentle trails suitable for the whole family, including your dog. Koscielliska Valley is just a little farther away, located 13 km away, home of a few mesmerizing caves such as Frosty, Mylna, and Oblazowa.
